According to initial reports, the spill occurred around midnight of November 23, 2015. It is not clear what chemical caused the stench, but according to the Traffic Command Center of Pasig, it is one of the raw materials for manufacturing plastic. There have been no reports of death or injuries. I just hope it stays that way.
These spills may be a result of any of the following;
- Freak accidents
- Human error
- Dilapidated equipment
- Use of wrong equipment or tools
- Damaged hoses
- Unsafe practices Equipment failure
Be safe.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I had a difficult time breathing myself. I am better now.
DeleteThank you for this information. The intensity of the smell is high in our area (Maybunga Pasig). We are thinking to move at least outside Metro Manila to be away enough from this air pollutant. Would you be able to give the source of the initial report you provided? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSabi po ng Pasig City officials, 1:30 pm pa raw naganap iyong spill, initially affecting six barangays.
