PACIFIC SPECTRUM ENVIRONMENTAL Research and Consultancy, Inc. (PSEnvi) was formed in July 2001 by a group of environmental professionals coming from the various fields of science and engineering. The members of the group initially met years ago at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Most have been involved in environmental engineering research and consultancy projects undertaken for various industrial companies and government institutions working as project managers or technical associates. Initial Environmental Examination Report (IEER) and Securing of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and other Environmental Permits for a Brewery Facility

Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) Requirements in the Philippines for New Projects


The Philippine Environmental Impact Assessment System (PEIAS) requires all new environmental-critical projects to conduct an  environmental impact assessment (EIA) where results shall be written in either an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Initial Environmental Examination Report (IEER) or an Environmental Performance Report and Management Plan (EPRMP) and submitted to the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) to secure an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC). The ECC requirements in the Philippines are typical of other countries that have already adopted the EIA process in ensuring all projects in the country have considered the environmental impacts in its planning so that the necessary mitigating measures and enhancements are put in place from the beginning.

To secure an ECC in the Philippines, there are environmental consulting engineers and companies who can prepare all the necessary requirements including the report preparation and liaising until the ECC is secured.
